WHO WE ARE
Badhon Manob Unnayan Sangstha(BMUS) is trying to increase improved access to human rights through social mobilization and awareness, participation and empowerment to the targeted people in the south-west region in Bagerhat district of Bangladesh since June’ 2001. This organisation began its work with underprivileged population and since then working on issues like health & hygiene, non-formal primary education, human rights, child rights, good governance, domestic violence, ecological agriculture, natural disaster, HIV/AIDS Social Audit on VGD program, Anti-Corruption Campaign and gender mainstreaming. Now we are trying to establish basic human rights, encourage youth leadership, governance and climate friend livelihoods with 30 school based science clubs and 80 local youth clubs and 2500 local youth volunteers. For marginalize farmer, person with disability, women, adolescent and young people. BMUS also working with the network of Campaign for good governance, Democratic budget movement, Food security, Gender and water alliance and established a Community action network for tax justice.
WHAT WE DO
BADHON is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), working in multi program such as GRPS & Youths, SRHR & Youths, Youth Engagement, Youth Leadership, Youth income opportunity, Youth & ICT, Youths & Training, Life skill for youth, Children Sponsorship, Inclusion and diversity aspects considered in the project and Affiliation with other networks/alliances/platforms etc. The overall purpose of the organization is to lift the marginalized population out of the cycle of poverty and envisions a society free from discrimination and injustice where men and women equally contribute to the overall development process.
We provide education support for children who are the baby of the commercial sex worker and lives in Brothel. It is under our sponsorship program, we are trying to create fundraising and seeking donors from the national and international, private sector, or individuals. to manage this cost for reading, feeding, uniform, purpose for that’s children, Our objective for this project: to increase the access of quality education for the vulnerable and ethnic children. Who are aged between 5 to 12 and would be reached up them to class one to class five. So your sympathy could be help to change their better life.
